Chapter 1 · 1.2
What can you do with Euro-Office?
Euro-Office has four parts. Which part opens depends on the file you click on. So you never need to choose yourself: click on a file and the right program opens automatically.
Text documents
You create letters, quotes, reports and newsletters in the text editor. It works the way you're used to from Word: with styles and headings, tables, images, headers and footers, and an automatic table of contents. Euro-Office opens and saves Word files (docx), as well as OpenDocument (odt), rtf and more.

Spreadsheets
You create budgets, overviews and lists in the spreadsheet editor. You can calculate with formulas and functions, create charts and pivot tables, and sort and filter your data. Excel files (xlsx) work just fine, including formulas and formatting.

Presentations
With the presentation editor, you create slides with text, images, shapes and charts. You can add transitions and animations and present directly from your browser. You can open and save PowerPoint files (pptx) without any conversion.

PDF files
You can view PDFs in Euro-Office, and you can also work with them: fill in forms, add comments and highlights, and even edit the text of a PDF. You can also create your own fillable PDF form.

Working together
You can collaborate on all four parts. You share a file with a colleague and you work on it together at the same time. You see each other's changes, add comments and can even chat with each other within the document. You can read more about this in Tegelijk aan een document werken.
