Can I also do this in My WebOké? The Website Manager
Much of what you do in Installatron can also be done in My WebOké with the Website Manager. It uses the same Installatron in the background, but is simpler: you don't need to log in to DirectAdmin first, and you can see the websites from all your hosting packages in one place.
Opening the Website Manager
- Log in to My WebOké.
- Click My Products and then, at the top, click the Website Manager tab. Or go directly to my.weboke.nl/websitemanager.
You'll see your Installed websites (1), with the version for each website, whether an update is available, which server it's on and whether a caching plugin is active.
What can you do per website?
- Log in: you're logged in to your website's admin area straightaway, without a password.
- Update: update your website to the latest version. We automatically make a backup first; if the update fails, we restore it straightaway.
- Admin: a window with five sections:
- Login details: a new password, the username, the email address and the site title of your website's admin account.
- Automatic updates: choose Off, Minor updates only (recommended) or All updates, with the Backup safety net that makes a backup before every automatic update.
- Plugins & themes: all plugins and themes with their version; update them individually or click Update all.
- Clone website: make an exact copy, for example to safely test something (see Cloning and creating a staging environment).
- Delete website: permanently delete the website (see Deleting an installation).
Installing a new website
Click Install website (2). In three steps (Type of website, Settings, Confirm) you choose the software, where the website will be placed, the site title and your admin account. Click Install now; your website is usually ready within a minute.
Importing an existing website
Click Import website (3) and choose:
- The website is already on my hosting package: we'll simply add it to your overview. Nothing changes on the site itself.
- The website is hosted with another provider: we'll move the files and database to WebOké. For WordPress, your admin login is often enough; if that doesn't work, we'll use FTP details. Your old site stays intact until you switch over.
Can't see a website?
Click Refresh. The Website Manager will then fetch the list from your hosting packages again. A website you've just installed in DirectAdmin will then also appear. If it still doesn't show up, it wasn't installed with Installatron: import it first instead.
